Sobre

Biological Physics graduate from UNESP, São José do Rio Preto campus, where she also completed her master’s and PhD in Molecular Biophysics. Early on, she was driven by curiosity about biological systems and by the possibilities of modeling them from the principles of Physics. Throughout this journey, she realized she was in love with science and with the field of Biophysics. She is currently a faculty member in the Department of Physics at UNESP São José do Rio Preto and conducts research aimed at understanding biological systems through physics approaches.

Áreas de Pesquisa:

Cellular and Molecular Biology
Physics and Mathematics of Biology

About the research:

The project aims to understand how structural context and molecular interactions can influence the conformation and stability of proteins. To this end, it uses computational simulations, molecular dynamics, and experimental approaches to investigate the structural and functional properties of proteins relevant to biological processes and diseases. The research seeks to contribute to the understanding of molecular mechanisms in proteins and to open new perspectives for therapeutic design and biotechnological applications.
