Bachelor’s in Physical Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires (2008) and PhD in Physics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ, 2012). He completed postdoctoral work at UFRJ and the University of Calgary (Canada) and was Adjunct Professor at UFRJ between 2017 and 2025, during which he also coordinated the Quantum Optics Laboratory. He is currently a researcher at the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics (CBPF), where he works on the development of quantum communication networks within the Rede-Rio-Quântica project. His research focuses on quantum information, quantum optics, entangled states, quantum communication and metrology, as well as experiments at the interface between quantum optics and neuroscience.
