About the research:
Can the mind influence physical systems through mechanisms not yet identified? The research investigates this controversial hypothesis through experiments in which participants try to alter the behavior of a random-number-generator circuit using mental intention alone. For this hypothesis to be tested responsibly, the study adopts a rigorous experimental methodology. The design includes pre-registration of the protocol (with hypotheses and analyses defined before data collection), control sessions carried out after the sessions with participants, statistical simulations of the experiment, and self-replication strategies. These procedures are fundamental to reduce biases, avoid systematic errors, and evaluate the consistency of the results, reducing the risk of false positives and strengthening the reliability of the conclusions.
