B.S. in psychology from PUCRS and a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Oxford University, where he also completed a postdoctoral fellowship supported by the Wellcome Trust. Currently a researcher in the Max Planck Tandem Research Group at the University of São Paulo’s Institute of Biosciences, focusing on neurophysiology, psychophysics, and cognitive and experimental psychology.
