Founder and chief scientist of Bright Photomedicine. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in physics from the University of São Paulo (USP), including a one-year sandwich fellowship at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine at Harvard Medical School. His work focuses on photomedicine, laser-tissue interactions, low-intensity lasers, biomedical optics, and photoneuromodulation.
